The
DFW Metro Stars organization
is comprised of public safety personnel (Police, Fire, Paramedics,
Corrections Officers, and US Military) united to promote
a positive image to the public by raising funds for charity
through spirited, local and national football competition.
The DFW Metro Stars players
have been involved with the National Public Safety Football
League (“NPSFL”) for 10 years.
This is quite an accomplishment for an all volunteer, community,
full-contact, semi-professional football program. If you
are not aware of the history, mission, and goals of the
NPSFL, enclosed is a brief summary.
All
of our home games are played at Nolan Catholic High School
Stadium in Fort Worth. Individual Tickets for home games are
$5.00 with children under 12 FREE.
Since this is a non-profit, community-based organization with
national affiliations, we focus on sponsorships and advertising
to meet the financial budget each season. All of our players
and coaches volunteer their time and currently pay their own
travel expenses. It is our goal to raise advertising and underwriting
funds so that 100% of all ticket sales are available for educational
/ charitable activities designed to coach youths away from
drugs.
